FAQs

  • All summer camps are Monday-Friday except for the week of July 3rd (we will be closed on July 4th). 
  • Camp hours: 
    • Half-Day: 9am-NOON (camp only)
    • Full-Day:  8:30am-4:30pm 
  • Rising first grade - rising sixth grade.
  • All camps include a snack in the morning and lunch if the camper is in our full-day program. Campers are welcome to bring a snack and/or lunch from home.
  • We do not prorate camps due to sickness, vacation, etc...
  • Full-day campers will enjoy arts and crafts, games, playground time, and learning activities. We will go to the Nature Center once in June and a local pool once in July for full-day campers.
  • Cancellation policy: a 50% refund will be given provided that we have a two-week notice from the first day of the camp(s)  you wish to cancel. No refunds on camp fees if less than a two-week notice.

Parks & Plunges                                                                                                     
June 5th - 9th

Join us as we travel to local parks: JBL park, Nature Center, Fletcher Park, Jones Elementary Park, Malvern Hills Park, John Rucker Park, Splashville, Carrier Park, and Hominey Creek.

Campers will need a change of clothes, towel, and footwear to get wet. All campers are to bring a snack and water bottle for an exciting week of Parks & Plunges!

LEGO Camp                                                                                                         
June 12th - 16th 

LEGOGet ready for some LEGO® fun with this camp. The good times will roll with a vehicle obstacle course and derby race. The sky is the limit when we build a skyscraper and put it to the earthquake table challenge! This week will include brick-building team challenges that all brick builders will enjoy!

TAE KWON DO                                                                                                   
June 19th - 23rd  

Sun Soo

Asheville Sun Soo Traditional Tae Kwon Do Instructor Tony Morris, a 7th-degree black belt for over 20 years, heads up this exciting camp. Campers will learn an array of skills with a special emphasis placed on the core values of respect, integrity, and self-control.

COOKING CAMP                                                                                                 
June 26th - 30th  

cookingCampers will be exploring cooking safety and sanitation, nutrition, basic cooking skills, kitchen tools identification, and culinary measurements! We will explore how food can be delicious but also a fun, creative activity.

SPORTS OF ALL SORTS                                                           
July 3rd - 7th (closed July 4th)Sports

Do you love sports of all kinds? Then this camp is for you! Every day the campers will sharpen their skills in a different sport. Jen Marsh, our p.e. teacher and athletic director, will lead this camp in hockey, basketball, softball, and more! Join us for this sports-packed week!

HIGH TOUCH-HIGH TECH: World of Life                                                       
 July 10th - 14th HTHT

A High Touch scientist will engage the children in fun, non-stop, hands-on-learning. Some of the programs the camp will cover are Science Circus, Mystery Science, Get Wired, and much more! Join us for all the science fun! 

*No sibling discount on this camp due to contractors’ restrictions.

ACT ACTING CAMP                                                                                           
July 17th - 21st ACT 

Asheville Community Theatre is excited to bring the tools of the actor, acting, and improvisation to life with our theatre workshop. Develop characters, find your voice, and discover who you are onstage!

VBS (VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL)                                                                   
July 24th - 28th

*No cost for the program from 9am-NOON; full-day $150.00

Together, they will learn how Jesus shined his light into our world to bring hope, love, forgiveness, and joy! Campers can expect a week full of epic adventures, fun crafts, music, and games to help them grow in friendship with Jesus.

 

We will run the same VBS program each evening 6 pm - 8 pm.

SCULPTURE CAMP
