The K-8 years shape how children learn, how they see themselves, how they build friendships, and how they prepare for high school. At Emmanuel Lutheran Christian School, students are challenged academically, supported personally, and guided spiritually in a smaller school environment where teachers know them by name.

From kindergarten through eighth grade, Emmanuel helps students build strong learning habits, confidence, character, and readiness for what comes next.

The K-8 Admissions Process

  1. Schedule a Tour
Visit campus, meet members of our team, and learn more about Emmanuel’s K-8 program. A tour is the best first step for families who want to understand the school environment.
  1. Complete the Online Application
After your tour, families who are ready to move forward complete the online application and submit required information.
  1. Submit Required Documents:
Families may be asked to provide school records, report cards, standardized testing, teacher recommendations, birth certificate, immunization records, or other required documents.
  1. Admissions Review
The admissions team reviews the application, records, assessment information, and available classroom space.
  1. Acceptance and Enrollment After acceptance, families complete enrollment documents and submit the required enrollment fee to secure their child’s spot.

Kindergarten Admissions

Kindergarten is a major step in a child’s school journey. Emmanuel’s kindergarten program helps children build early academic skills, classroom routines, confidence, friendships, and faith in a nurturing Christian environment.

Families interested in kindergarten are encouraged to tour early, ask about readiness, and learn how Emmanuel helps children transition into elementary school.

Elementary School Admissions

Elementary students need strong foundations: reading, writing, math, curiosity, responsibility, and the confidence to keep growing. Emmanuel provides structured instruction, caring teachers, and a school culture that reinforces faith, kindness, respect, and service.

Middle School Admissions

Middle school should build confidence, not break it. At Emmanuel, middle school students are challenged academically while receiving the personal support, leadership opportunities, character formation, and faith-centered guidance they need before high school.
