Welcome to Emmanuel from Admissions!
Asheville Christian Education, infant through grade 8, since 1958
Thank you for your interest in Emmanuel Lutheran School. Emmanuel celebrates a 60-year tradition of providing a truly distinctive Christ-centered education that challenges students to grow both intellectually and spiritually. At ELS we desire to partner with parents to educate students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.
Emmanuel Lutheran School is an accredited Christian school. We offer a caring environment where children can thrive as they learn. We are committed to excellence and view each child as special and unique. Quality academics, a safe environment, and a Christ-centered approach help to develop the whole child.
There is so much to discover about Emmanuel Lutheran School, and I am eager to assist you in any way that I can. One of the most important steps for families considering Emmanuel Lutheran School is to tour our campus. Each family seeking admission toELS must schedule a school visit.
K-8 Campus Visit
We can schedule a visit for you with or without your children. I'll be available to show you the campus and answer any questions you have. You can choose an available time online during school hours so you can see our classrooms in action. However, if this time frame is not good for you we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Please feel free to contact me by phone with any questions at (828) 335-1330 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
K-8 Optional Student Visit
Once you have toured our campus, you may setup a shadow day for your student to experience first hand the classroom experience at Emmanuel! Your child will be paired with a friendly ELS student who will be their host while they are with us. Some students find this super fun, get familiar with our campus, and even make new friends.
K-8 The Next Steps
After your visit, we invite you to submit an application. Submit your annual registration fee and set a testing date with our front office. After your registration is complete, you will be contacted by our school office. All new students will be tested prior to acceptance for appropriate grade placement before beginning school. Welcome to the ELS family! View our complete fees schedule here. If needed, financial assistance is offered.
